Sinclair Research Appoints Alric López as Principal Anatomic Veterinary Pathologist

COLUMBIA, Mo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sinclair Research, one of the nation’s leading providers of nonclinical services, has named Dr. Alric López, DVM, PhD, DACVP, as principal anatomic veterinary pathologist. In this newly created role, Dr. López will have overall responsibility for driving the growth of Sinclair’s dedicated pathology, necropsy and histology services to support a growing toxicology and efficacy model service offering as well as fostering positive relationships with current sponsors and new customers.

Dr. López became a board-certified pathologist by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) in 2003 and has extensive experience authoring comprehensive GLP-compliant pathology narrative reports of microscopic, gross, and clinical pathology findings for Investigational New Drug (IND) purposes.

Alric joins Sinclair Research from Tox Path, LLC where he leveraged more than 15 years of experience in toxicologic pathology in GLP environments for clients around the world. Prior to consulting, he served as senior pathologist at HistoTox Labs, Envigo and Covance Laboratories, gaining experience in acute toxicology, subchronic/chronic studies, carcinogenicity studies, safety pharmacology, discovery pharmacology, lung and liver fibrosis, DSS and other models of gastrointestinal inflammation, glomerulonephritis, endocrine pancreas, immunotoxicology and immunohistochemistry. Alric is active in industry pathology associations including the ACVP and the Society of Toxicologic Pathology (STP).
