AUXVASSE, MO. — Sinclair Research, a leading provider of nonclinical contract research services, today announced the completion of successful validation of GLP ototoxicity testing services in partnership with Turner Scientific, an industry leader specializing in nonclinical hearing research.

The partnership with Turner Scientific allows Sinclair Research to help drug developers effectively evaluate the risks of potential auditory damage prior to in-human trials, and will help safeguard developers from potential risk while also helping them get their products to market faster and safer than before.
Ototoxicity studies evaluate the safety and potential adverse effects a compound or device has on the inner ear and auditory nerves, which can lead to symptoms including dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus and hearing loss.
The partnership also allows both companies to provide experimental toxicology and efficacy services in auditory research for novel biopharmaceuticals and cell and gene therapies.
